Is a famous photograph by Alfred Eisenstaedt that portrays an American sailor kissing a young woman dressed in white during Victory Day celebrations over Japan in Times Square on August 14, 1945. The photograph was like that a week later in Life of the magazine, among many other photographs of the celebrations in the country, results in a twelve-page section called Victoria. The image of two people kissing was the favorite of the photographers who cover the war at the time and many of them encourage people to pose in this way.
